The Midwestern Governors Association will hold its seventh annual invite-only transmission meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 30-31, 2017.

An important component of modernizing the grid is a “fix it first” approach. The MGA is hosting a conference, Grid Security and Modernization: Hardening the Midwestern Grid. This event is an opportunity to learn how the Midwest is safeguarding and improving the region's electric grid. Topics to be covered at this meeting will include disaster preparedness, micro grids, distributed generation, and cybersecurity.
