The Midwest - Living and Working in the Region

Long known for its superior standard of living, a recent survey shows that four of the top 10 states with best quality of life are in the Midwest, and nine states in top 30. The Midwest also boasts four spots among the top 11 cities with the lowest unemployment rate.

In their 2015 survey, Livability.com's list of America's Best Small Towns ranked 25 Midwestern towns in the top 100 best places to live. In this same study, MGA cities accounted for 9 of the top 16 best places to live in 2016. Click here for full results.
